What do you do as a Life and Grief Coach?

As a Life and Grief Coach, my focus is on partnering with individuals who seek growth in their personal and professional lives, as well as those in need of processing their unique experiences of loss or grief, whether it’s related to the loss of a loved one or other life transitions. With certification from one of the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Programs, I am equipped to guide clients through these transformative journeys. 

In our coaching sessions, we will explore various aspects of your life to cultivate clarity, awareness, progress, and hope in your current season. This may involve identifying and overcoming obstacles or barriers that hinder your movement, outlining actionable steps to achieve your goals, or simply providing a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings. 

I believe in the power of your story and how it can positively impact both your life and the world around you.

Are you going to make me emotional during coaching?

As every person is unique, there may be times during the process of coaching sessions when clients become emotional. They may suddenly become aware of something that excites, astonishes, saddens, angers, or frustrates them.

And that’s okay. Being emotional in a coaching session is normal for both men and women. A coaching environment provides a safe space to experience and process these emotions, which can sometimes be life-changing and healing. 

How can I be assured if I’ll become better through coaching?

As with anything, change can only occur when you’re also committed to doing the work. The assurance of improvement depends on the intentionality and action you’re willing to invest before, during and after each coaching session (and group programs).

If you’re uncertain about coaching’s suitability for you, I offer a discounted one (1) hour one-on-one coaching session for my subscribers. I’ll only recommend continuing our work together if we both agree it will benefit you. Otherwise, I can refer you to other coaches or professionals who may be better suited to your needs. 

I’m based outside the Philippines, how do I book for coaching and join your group programs?

Since our one-on-one coaching and group programs are conducted online and in English, individuals from anywhere in the world can participate. Interested clients or participants who are willing to commit their time based on the available schedule can click on our programs to find more information.

LOSS & GRIEF SESSIONS:  Find solace in a safe environment designed to explore the truth about loss and the grieving process. Through three weekly two-hour facilitated presentations and meetings, you’ll join an intimate group to gain insights into your own loss and to empathize with others on their grief journey.

Participation in the program in optional, allowing you to engage at your comfort level. If you’re considering joining a support group but are uncertain, this program offers a gentle introduction.

LOSS & GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP: Join our one-hour facilitated program designed to coach individuals in a group setting. Whether you’re beginning your journey or seeking continued awareness and healing, this program offers valuable support.

It can serve as a follow-up to the Loss & Grief Sessions or as an opportunity for anyone looking to delve deeper into their unique process within a safe space. 

WRITE-SHOP: Ideal for those seeking a creative outlet for self-expression. Our interactive facilitated program offers engaging writing activities, moments of reflection, and story-sharing sessions to inspire and awaken the writer within you.

It serves as a refreshing mental and emotional health exercise, providing a supportive environment for individuals to express and process their emotions, thoughts, and experiences through the power of writing. Many participants have found clarity and healing through our sessions.

This workshop can be incorporated into your self-care routine or used as a supplementary tool following the Wise & Well Living Workshop.

In both one-on-one and group coaching sessions, I adhere to the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Code of Ethics and Core Values, which emphasize integrity, excellence, collaboration, and respect. Every person is valued, regardless of age, religion, status, gender, race, or any other areas of human difference, as outlined by the ICF.

Coaching is always centered around you and what’s important to you. While I may draw from my studies, experience, research, and Biblical worldview in my group programs, I ensure that each session is inclusive and welcoming to everyone in a safe environment. Participants are encouraged to learn from each other, and mutual respect for each other’s stories, background, and values is required.

Recognizing this shared struggle, especially in the tumultuous year of 2020, lead me to pivot into coaching. My aim is to bring clarity and hope to people through one-on-one sessions and group programs online. 

To better equip myself to support others, I completed an accredited Coach Training Program through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am now a certified life, grief, and end-of-life coach. 

To date, I’ve had the privilege of coaching individuals and facilitating groups online in different countries, including the USA, Zimbabwe, Peru, Australia, Brazil, El Salvador, Vietnam, Mexico, The Bahamas, Sweden, Uzbekistan, and Singapore. Through these experiences, I’ve witnessed awareness, healing, and growth in their lives. All of this has been possible through God’s grace and work, even amidst a pandemic.
